Flora and Fauna: As the climate and topography vary greatly in Turkey, so does the flora and fauna. The Black Sea region is renowned for its forests of leaf bearing and coniferous trees and for the apples, pears, cherries which is originated from Turkey, hazelnuts, mandarin oranges, tobacco and tea that are grown there. Along the eastern Mediterranean shores the local vegetation is tropical, with flourishing banana, palm and citrus trees and sugar cane and cotton. From the western Mediterranean, Aegean and Marmara coasts: olive, citrus and pine trees along the mountains are found. On the steppes of Central Anatolia: natural pastures with scattered-forested areas. In Europe, there are 11,500 kind of flora with flowers. In Turkey, this number is 9,000 but 3,000 of this flora only grow in Turkey

We suggest you to start plumping for sail or motor or a combination of both. Then you ought to decide how many people are going to be in your party (we can accommodate any number cabins from 4 - 5 - 6 - to 8 sharing with another in the cabin).
Do you wish to see a lot of places or would you rather idle about? (Remember that if your choice is the former, a fast boat is essential). However these are just a few hints to help you choose the right boat as any detailed plan depend on how long you have got and what the weather and sea are like. We also wish the leave it up to you decide whether you would like us to arrange for food and drinks on board or whether you wish to do your own cooking. In the following detail sentences we have tried to show you more details of life on board and some technical data concerning about yachts.

Sail-Trek and relax on board is a unique holiday concept. We use our sailboat as a floating base camp and walk daily to unspoiled areas of South-West Turkey where Taurus Mountains meet the Mediterranean Sea. Part of each day we will be sailing from one bay to another. Our anchorage places will be small fisherman villages to isolated bays.

We would only be too pleased to welcome you on board!

Dear Yavuz, I just want to thank you and your staff for the great time we had in that 3-days tour, around Cappadocia. Wonderful places, nice weather and people. We will keep a very nice memory of that trip. Also the tourist guides driving us visiting places were well prepared and helpful to give us any details of those places. (only one little drawback: no tourist guide in the half-day we spent in Ankara, but ok it is not a big issue) So, thanks again for your support. Best Regards Andrea PASCHETTA / Italia
